America has fallen in love with the Parson Russell Terrier. We know this lovable dog as the Jack Russell but was changed to the Parson in April of 2003. The dog gets its name from Rev. John “Jack” Russell. He was a well noted fox hunter who was nick named The Sporting Parson in the 19th century.
